In natural hair care, hibiscus (Hibiscus esculentus) shampoos restore the hair's natural barrier, rehydrate the keratin fibers, and regenerate the hair's structure. Hibiscus Esculentus Fruit Extract can also be incorporated into dandruff products as it contains many alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs). Including these in natural hair care helps to restore the balance in the hair and soften it.

In natural hair care treatments for dry hair, Hibiscus Esculentus Fruit Extract increases the moisture in the horny layer. It generates a hydro-lipid film, giving hair a silky, shiny look. The hydroxy acids in the hibiscus are also suitable for natural skincare treatments. They improve skin flexibility and elasticity, as well as create higher moisture levels.

Anthocyanocides in hibiscus have astringent, anti-inflammatory, and free radical scavenging, as well as enzyme inhibition properties to bring to natural skincare products. All this makes the herb a beneficial natural skincare treatment against the effects of aging and for various allergic eczemas and other skin conditions.
