SK-influx®

SK-influx® is a skin-identical lipid (ceramide) complex ingredient that restores the skin's protective barrier function. It is a concentrated formulation consisting of a multi-lamellar (membrane) system resembling the structure of the lipid barrier in the Stratum Corneum.

This rich mix of different types of ceramides, cholesterol, free fatty acids, and phytosphingosine makes it an ideal ingredient for personal care products with unique skin-restoring and recovery capabilities. In addition, the topical application of products with SK-influx®will result in enhanced moisturization and protection, ultimately leading to less sensitive and less dry skin.

It is suitable for all skin types, but depending on the skin type and desired effect. SK-influx® can be used with concentrations varying from 1 - 15 %. However, a dosage level of 3 - 5 % is recommended for typical applications such as aging and dry skin.

SK-influx® is suitable for a wide range of applications, from oil-in-water creams to liquid lotions aiming for moisturization,  aging and anti-wrinkle effects, skin repair, and protection.
