Not recommended for:
- Daytime application. This is an evening product, and a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher belongs in your morning routine while you use it.
- The eyelid margin, the inner corner of the eye or any mucous membrane. Keep the application on the orbital bone, roughly where the bone can be felt.
- Nightly use from the very first evening. Start with two or three evenings a week and build up gradually as your skin adjusts.
- Layering in the same evening with other renewing or acid-based products around the eyes.
- Skin that is broken, sunburned, freshly waxed, or immediately after an exfoliating salon service.

When in the day should I use EyeMax AlphaRet?
In the evening only. Apply a rice-grain amount around the orbital area after cleansing, tap it in gently, and follow with your night moisturizer if you use one. During the day, wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher.
How is this different from InterFuse Treatment Cream EYE?
EyeMax AlphaRet is the evening option and is built around AlphaRet Technology. InterFuse Treatment Cream EYE is the gentler one, without the AlphaRet complex, and is made for morning and evening use with caffeine and peptides supporting a fresher, smoother look. Many people use InterFuse in the morning and EyeMax at night; if you only want one, choose EyeMax for evening conditioning and InterFuse for all-day hydration.
How often should I apply it when I am just starting?
Two or three evenings a week is a comfortable starting point. Once your skin feels settled at that frequency, move to every other evening, then nightly if it stays comfortable. There is no benefit to rushing the schedule.
What if the eye area feels dry or looks flaky?
Reduce the frequency for a week or two and apply your moisturizer first, then the eye cream on top, so the formula is buffered. Keep the amount to a rice grain; more product does not help and usually makes dryness more noticeable.
Can I use it around the time of a facial or peel?
