Frequently Asked Questions
How is Trio Rebalancing different from Trio Luxe?
Weight. Rebalancing is the lighter of the two — a daily moisturizer for normal to combination skin that absorbs quickly and sits well under sunscreen. Trio Luxe Moisture Treatment is the richer, more cushioned version for very dry skin and colder months.
Which one should I choose?
If your skin feels comfortable most of the day and you dislike anything heavy, start here. If it feels tight or flaky by mid-morning, go to Luxe. Plenty of people keep both — Rebalancing in the morning, Luxe at night or through a dry stretch.
It contains exfoliating acids — can I use it every day?
The salicylic and lactic acid levels here are low and built into a moisturizer, so twice daily use is the intended routine. If your skin feels sensitive, start once a day and build up. Sunscreen every morning is not optional with this one.
Can I use it with a retinoid?
Yes. Apply AlphaRet Overnight Cream or your serum first, then this over the top. If your skin feels reactive, alternate nights rather than stacking every evening.
Where does it fit in my routine?
After cleansing and serums, before sunscreen in the morning and last at night. It layers cleanly under sunbetter TONE SMART SPF 75 Sunscreen Lotion and makeup.
