For external use only, on the scalp. Avoid contact with the eyes and rinse thoroughly with water if the mixture gets into them. Discontinue use if irritation occurs, and store the vials upright, away from heat and out of reach of children.
Not recommended for:
- Anyone with a known sensitivity to an ingredient in the list, including fragrance, parabens or denatured alcohol.
- A scalp that is broken, sore or freshly shaved — wait until it has settled.
- Use on the face or the eye contour; this is a scalp formula.
- Keeping a mixed duo for later — each duo is prepared for immediate use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I rinse it out?
No. Apply it section by section to clean, towel-dried hair, massage it into the roots and style as usual; the fluid stays on the scalp.
How do the two bottles work together?
Each duo pairs a Revitalizing Concentrate with a Regenerating Solid Matter. Insert the concentrate, twist to tighten, shake until the solid matter dissolves, then draw the mixture into the squeeze bottle.
How often, and for how long?
Two duos a week over three weeks, applied every other day. Valmont suggests repeating the course two to four times a year, ideally at the change of seasons.
How is it different from Recovering Mask?
This is a leave-in formula for the scalp and the roots. The Recovering Mask is a rinse-off treatment for the lengths, for softness, shine and easier detangling.
Will it leave my hair greasy?
No. The fluid is light and alcohol-based, so it settles into the scalp quickly and you can blow-dry or style straight after.
