Safety Information
For external use only. Keep the balm away from the eye contour and rinse thoroughly with water on accidental contact with the eyes. When used as a mask, rinse off with warm water after the recommended time. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Close the jar after use, keep away from direct sunlight, and store out of reach of children.
Not recommended for:
- Anyone with a known sensitivity to bee-derived ingredients — the formula contains honey, propolis, royal jelly and beeswax.
- Anyone with a known sensitivity to soybean or coconut oil, or to fragrance components such as linalool, geraniol or coumarin.
- The eye contour, which has its own formula in this collection.
- Broken, irritated or sunburned skin — wait until the skin has settled.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it a cream or a mask?
Both, and the difference is how much you apply. A light layer massaged into face and neck works as a daily cream; a thick layer left on for a few minutes and then rinsed works as a mask, once or twice a week.
Why does the texture change while I massage it?
The balm is built on beeswax and plant oils. Warmth and movement melt it from a cream into an oil, and wet hands at the end turn it into a milk that rinses away cleanly.
Do I still need a cream after the mask?
Rinse, then continue with your usual routine. In the morning finish with a daytime SPF.
How does it differ from Huile Majestueuse?
The oil is a fluid step pressed in under or over a cream. This is a thicker balm carrying the Essence of Bees Complex, worn as the final layer or lifted off as a mask.
Is it too rich for a warm climate?
It is built for mature or dry skin. In heat or humidity many people keep it as a weekly mask and use a lighter cream day to day.
