Safety Information
For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes and rinse thoroughly with water if the lotion gets into them. Exfoliating acids can leave skin more sensitive to sunlight, so use a daytime sun protection over it. Discontinue use if irritation occurs, close the bottle after use and store away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
Not recommended for:
- The same session as another exfoliant, scrub or acid mask — alternate the days instead.
- Broken, irritated, sunburned or freshly waxed skin.
- The eye and lip contour.
- Anyone with a known sensitivity to exfoliating acids, denatured alcohol or fragrance components.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to rinse it off?
No. Sweep it over a clean face and neck with a cotton pad and leave it on, then carry straight on with your serum.
How is it different from LumiMask?
LumiPeel is a daily lotion built on a gentle PHA that works little by little; LumiMask is a once or twice weekly glycolic cream you leave on for ten minutes and rinse. One is maintenance, the other is a reset.
Can I use both on the same day?
Better not. Alternate them, and skip LumiPeel on the day you use the mask so the skin is not exfoliated twice.
Twice a day is a lot for an acid — is that right?
That is the official direction, morning and evening, because the PHA is a large, slow-acting molecule. If your skin feels tight, drop to once a day and build back up.
Do I still need sun protection?
Yes, and more so than usual. Finish every morning routine with a daytime SPF.
