Product Overview
With a heart of rose wrapped in pink berries and oud, Rosso I's opulence of character challenges the wearer with its depth and complexity. To be worn by men or women, this rich and sophisticated extrait de parfum enthralls the senses. Like an aromatic symphony, a perfume is composed of different harmonizing notes.

For clients drawn to the fragrance profile and notes described by Valmont. Fragrance preference and wear are personal and may vary with skin chemistry.

Available Size
1.7 FL. OZ (50 ml)
Safety Information
For external use only. This is a dense oud composition in a 50 ml alcohol base, so one short press at each pulse point, from a hand’s width away, is the intended dose. Keep the spray well clear of the face and flush the eyes with plenty of clean water if any reaches them. If perfume tends to upset your skin, wear a single spray on the inner arm for a day before committing to it, and stop using it if redness or itching follows. Cap the bottle after each wear and stand it upright away from radiators, open flame and daylight, out of reach of children.
Not recommended for:
- The face, the beard line, or any broken, freshly shaved or waxed skin.
- Bare shoulders and décolleté heading into strong sunlight; a resinous extrait on exposed skin can react in the sun.
- Scarves, silk and pearls — oud and resin cling to fabric and can dull porous stones, so spray before dressing.
- Anyone sensitive to eugenol, isoeugenol, geraniol or limonene, which the current pack names.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does it smell like?
Valmont places it in the floral oriental family: a damask rose heart wrapped in spicy pink berries, carried by the precious resin of oud.
How long does it last and how far does it travel?
Valmont describes it as rich and sophisticated, with an opulence of character. It is an extrait de parfum, the most concentrated form, so one or two sprays on the wrists and neck is usually enough for the day.
Who does it suit?
Valmont states it is to be worn by men or women. It suits anyone drawn to rose, spice and resinous depth rather than fresh citrus or gourmand sweetness.
How does it differ from Zafferano I?
Both share oud. Zafferano I is a spicy floriental led by saffron and bigaradier blossom, warm and leathery. Rosso I is the rosier of the two, built around damask rose and pink berries.
What size is the bottle?
Rosso I comes in the 1.7 FL. OZ (50 ml) format, smaller than the 100 ml bottles used across most of the Storie Veneziane collection.

- Valmont Zafferano I: the spiced Storie Veneziane counterpart that shares Rosso I's oud.
- Valmont Blu Cobalto I: the gourmand of the collection, for a sweeter kind of warmth.
- Valmont Laguna Verde I: the green, drier composition of Storie Veneziane.
