Does it contain retinol?
No. Bakuchiol is a plant active from babchi seeds that Valmont describes as retinol-like, photostable and well tolerated, so the cream suits morning use as well as evening.
What does it feel like on the skin?
It melts on contact rather than sitting on the surface. Mica in the formula leaves a very slight luminosity, not shine.
