The base is the same hyaluronic acid formula as the untinted UV Daily SPF 40, with iron oxides added, and that pigment does more than even out the look of the skin — it also removes the pale cast a mineral filter can leave, which is why it reads better than the untinted version on medium and deeper tones. Compared with UV Clear Tinted SPF 46, it is the more moisturising and less mattifying of the two tinted options.
There is a single sheer shade, so blending decides the result. Dot it over the face and work outward to the hairline, ears and jaw, then carry it down the neck so nothing stops at a hard line. On dry skin it spreads more easily onto slightly damp skin after serum. Safety Information
For external use only. Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply at least every two hours, and always after swimming, towel drying or sweating. Keep the product out of the eyes; if it does get in, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if irritation or a rash develops and persists.

The tint is sheer rather than a matched foundation shade, and it is intended to sit across medium-light through medium-deep tones. Blend it out well and it settles in. On the deepest tones apply a thin layer; on very fair skin use less and blend towards the edges.
