Environ

The corporation was founded by Dr. Des Fernandes in 1990 and operated initially from small premises with only a chemist and a handful of staff manufacturing two creams. However, the company quickly expanded their ENVIRON® products into a complete skincare range and larger premises with an increased staff complement.

ENVIRON® products are manufactured under strictly controlled conditions at the factory (Tretin-Care Products) in Cape Town. Internationally accredited laboratories regularly assess Environ® products for sterility, chemical content, and activity. The company enjoys continued success and now has an extensive distribution network throughout South Africa and further exports to Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, and North America.

The Environ® Skin Care Institute is the base from which Dr. Des Fernandes conducts the research and development into potential Environ® products. In addition, training for the specialized Environ® salon treatments and intense education in the Environ®  system are provided at the Environ®  Skin Care Institute. It is also the home of the Environ Club, whose members may enjoy a cup of coffee while learning more about skincare at the extensive information library, which has been sourced through international research facilities.
