What is Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™?
The company developed a range of products where concentrations of Retinol (Vitamin A) and other active ingredients increase step-by-step, allowing the skin to adapt over time. However, retinol and other skincare actives may irritate in high concentrations if the skin is not prepared (trained), and Environ offers a unique solution with Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™.
The system philosophy is "Start low and go slow," stepping up in five concentration grades. As a result, the skin receives higher and higher Retinol concentrations over time, without irritation and discomfort. Some Environ products have hexagon marking on the label with a number from 1 to 5. Larger number points to higher concentration.
Storage conditions
Modern skincare formulas contain a vast amount of active ingredients, including vitamins, peptides, and natural extracts, which are sensitive to storage conditions. Without proper conditions (e.g., warehouses without constant temperature, vibration control, or automated handling), ingredients may decay, emulsions - separate, or packaging lose tightness.
